Bold Women is a unique workshop for professional women who are looking to gain personal insight and skills to play at the top of their game.
This is not a training. It's a group coaching experience where women build skills to lead with authority, be self-aware, communicate effectively, and manage conflict and complex, dynamic relationships.
Each group is made up of women who are early executives committed to growing their careers and making an impact in their organizations and the world. This is a truly unique and powerful networking and learning opportunity.
- Increased self-confidence.
- Deepened sense of purpose to manage burnout and fatigue.
- Increased awareness of self and impact on others.
- Ability to identify potential career or leadership derailers that lower impact and/or get in the way of achieving results.
- Skills to navigate and initiate critical, high-stakes conversations.
- Ability to respond with agility and adaptability to any (and we mean ANY) situation.

Meet your coaches
This group will be facilitated by Lauran Arledge and Beth Kirke who have thousands of hours between them coaching women who have grown successful and fulfilling careers and lives. Their deep understanding of the numerous roles women play at work and at home make this a supportive, challenging, and high-growth experience.
Before becoming the Founder and CEO of Bold Font, Lauran built her 20-year career by combining a vision for positive change with direct action. Whether educating the next generation in high school and university classrooms, community organizing to decrease sexual violence, or redefining female leadership roles in the tech industry, Lauran embraces difficult conversations and situations as a conduit for profound cultural shifts. Lauran is a skilled consultant and coach to senior executives and their teams and has a track record of transforming leaders and lives through her work.
Lauran is the creator and author of several leadership curricula and programs, including peer-to-peer mentoring programs, culture building and transformation, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and executive leadership.
Lauran holds a Master of Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government with a minor in Gender Studies from Colorado State University. Lauran graduated from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) of East Africa (Kenya and Tanzania), where she lived in 2001. She continues to learn and grow every day from her most important role–as a proud mom to two incredible humans.
Beth is an Executive, Leader and Emerging Leader coach who began her career in corporate communications and investor relations for a publicly traded manufacturing company. That experience launched her into event marketing, fundraising for a major medical center in the midwest and ultimately sales and project management. Along the way she discovered the most meaningful thread was cultivating authentic connection and relationships with people and partnering as a coach to help spark their personal growth.
She excels at delivering coaching engagements that support leaders to step into their full potential, and proactively manage their growth, development and effectiveness. Areas of coaching expertise include executive presence, aligning intention with impact, emotional intelligence, managing high stakes conversations and a coach approach to leadership.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Northwestern University Medill School Of Journalism. She is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and a Certified Professional CO-Active Coach with the Co-Active Training Institute. Beth has been coaching with Bold Font since 2019.
